Tea Street Teams Up With Local Vendors and Non-Profits for AAPI Heritage Month Bingo in May
Venture out to support AAPI-owned and AAPI-led businesses, get your bingo card stamped, and win prizes from participating food and beverage vendors
DENVER (April 6, 2023) — Tea Street, a bubble tea shop that offers premium teas, fresh fruits, and scratch-made syrups, is launching AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month Bingo with several AAPI-owned and AAPI-led food and beverage vendors, and nonprofits from May 1-28, 2023.
Guests are encouraged to patronize participating food and beverage vendors or donate to two AAPI nonprofits to get their bingo cards stamped. Bingo card winners will receive prizes and will be notified on May 31st.
“Food is our love language and during AAPI Heritage Month, we want to share a few of the many AAPI-owned or led businesses and nonprofits that we love and admire,” says Victoria Lam, Tea Street Co-Owner and Bobarista. “We hope this bingo activation will illuminate a small slice of the supportive AAPI community!”
Starting Monday, May 1, participants can pick up bingo cards at the following locations:
Meta Asian Kitchen - located inside Honor Farm Denver
Mukja Food Truck - check social media for schedule and location
Pho King Rapidos - check social media for schedule and location
Yuan Wonton Food Truck - check social media for schedule and location
In addition to dining at participating vendor locations, guests can donate to the following nonprofits to mark their bingo.
Asian Girls Ignite - Asian Girls Ignite is on a mission to build a strong community of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) girls and women to celebrate our individual and collective power through shared stories.
Colorado Asian Culture & Education Network (CACEN): Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network (CACEN - pronounced "Kay-Sen") is a 501c3 organization founded in 2009. The organization’s mission is to elevate Colorado's Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities and address inequities through cultural exchange and education.
AAPI Heritage Month Bingo Rules:
One bingo is one entry. Guests may enter up to 9 entries
Bingo winners must cover three vertical, horizontal or diagonal squares
Blackout bingo (when all squares are covered) gets one extra entry
Winners will be notified on May 31st. If you donated to one of the nonprofits, the nonprofit will verify your donation
