Urban Sanctuary Denver to Host Open Sanctuary Event on May 8

This open house event celebrates the Denver yoga studio’s newly expanded space and gives yogis an opportunity to see what Urban Sanctuary is all about

Who: Urban Sanctuary is an ever-evolving community located in the heart of Five Points that is rooted in purpose, education and love. The yoga studio provides a safe space for black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) and the LGBTQ+ community. 

What: Urban Sanctuary recently expanded their studio, more than doubling the square footage, and they are also kicking off some brand new summer classes. To celebrate the new changes, Urban Sanctuary will be hosting Open Sanctuary, an informal open house for yogis and non yogis to tour the space, mix and mingle with Urban Sanctuary teachers, enjoy 30-minute gentle yoga classes at 2 and 3 p.m. and learn about all of Urban Sanctuary’s class offerings.

Urban Sanctuary is monitoring and adhering to local COVID guidelines to make sure that this is a safe, socially distanced event. Guests will leave with an Urban Sanctuary goodie bag.

When: Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Register below for the two gentle yoga sessions. Sessions are limited to 12 people.
